Share your location with your friends on iCloud.com
You can show or hide your location at any time in Find My Friends on iCloud.com.
Note: If you have set up restrictions for the Find My (or Find My Friends) app on your device, you cannot turn off Share My Location or Location Services. See the Apple Support article Use parental controls on your child’s iPhone, iPad and iPod touch for information about how to change content and privacy restrictions.
Show or hide your location
In Find My Friends on iCloud.com, click Me, then do any of the following:
Show your location: select the Share My Location tick box.
Hide your location: deselect the Share My Location tickbox.
Location Not Available appears below your name in the Find My (or Find My Friends) app on your followers’ devices, just as it does when your device is turned off, in airplane mode or offline.
Click Done.
If you are using iCloud.com on your iPad, see Use Find My Friends on iCloud.com on your iPad. Find My Friends on iCloud.com is not currently supported in a web browser on an iPhone. However, you can locate people using the Find My app on iOS 13, iPadOS 13 or later, or the Find My Friends app on iOS 12 or earlier.
