The process of returning a device to its previous state. This previous state can either be the last device backup or the default settings. In Apple Configurator 2, an easy way to apply identical settings to a large number of unsupervised devices is to use Apple Configurator 2 to back up and restore. You can manually set up one device the way you want it, back it up in Apple Configurator 2, and then restore that backup to your other devices.
