About your spending activity

It's easy to understand your spending with Apple Card.1 Machine learning and Apple Maps2 label each transaction with merchant names and locations so you know when and where you made a purchase.

Purchases are automatically totaled and organized by color-coded categories, like Food & Drinks, Transport, Shopping, Health, and Entertainment. And Apple Card provides weekly and monthly spending summaries to help you understand your spending.

Exporting data from Apple Card to a financial app like Mint is not currently supported.

See your Total Balance summary

The Total Balance summary in Wallet provides a snapshot of your previous monthly balance, new spending which includes pendings transactions, and any payments and credits. To view your Total Balance summary, open Wallet on your iPhone and tap Apple Card. Then tap Total balance below your card. Here's what you see:

  • [month] Balance is the monthly balance from the previous month.
  • New Spending is what you've spent so far this month.
  • Interest Charges show how much interest was charged on the balance that carried over from last month.*
  • Payments and Credits includes payments you might have made, refunds on purchases you returned, and credits you might have received from a transaction dispute.
  • Daily Cash shows shows the Daily Cash you got from transactions that settled during that billing period, even if you made the purchase in a previous billing period.
  • Statements are PDFs of statements from previous months.

*Interest Charges only appear if unpaid interest charges are present.

You can view how much you spend weekly or monthly with Apple Card:

  1. Open Wallet on your iPhone and tap Apple Card.
  2. Tap Weekly Activity or Monthly Activity to switch between those views.
  3. Swipe to the right to see spending activity from previous weeks or months.

Under Total Spending, you see what you spent during the selected week or month, including pending transactions. When you view Total Spending from a past week or month, you also see the percentage change in spending compared to the previous week or month.

Review individual transactions

To view a specific transaction made with Apple Card, follow one of these steps:

  • Open Wallet on your iPhone, tap Apple Card, then scroll to Latest Transactions and tap a recent transaction.
  • Open Wallet on your iPhone, tap Apple Card, then scroll down, tap the current year, tap a month, and tap a transaction.

If you made multiple purchases from the same merchant, you see all of those purchases under Transaction History. To view the details for the specific transactions, tap the transaction again.

You see the amount charged to Apple Card, the status of the transaction, and the total Daily Cash you're eligible to receive. If you made multiple purchases with the same merchant, you can also see the total of all of those purchases.

How to report an issue

To report an issue with a transaction, follow these steps:

  1. Open Wallet on your iPhone and tap Apple Card.
  2. Tap a recent transaction in Latest Transactions, or scroll down to the current year, then choose a month and tap the transaction you want to review.
  3. Tap Report an Issue, then choose an issue under Issue With.

If you think the spend category, merchant name, or location is wrong, tap Incorrect Merchant Info and Apple will review the information. You can also tap Charge Dispute, Unknown Transactions, or Other Issue to message an Apple Card Specialist.

  2. Some transactions might not be displayed in Maps.
