If a warning symbol appears on your Studio Display, your display is in recovery mode and needs to be updated.
If an error occurs while updating your Studio Display, a
and support.apple.com/display/restore appear on your screen. Use the built-in display on your Mac or another display connected to your Mac to update your Studio Display.Make sure your Mac is connected to the internet.
Wait up to 15 minutes for your Mac to update your display. While it's updating, you may see an
, a message asking you not to unplug the display or a blank screen. Don’t unplug your display or restart your Mac while the update is in progress.If a
