If you're experiencing an issue with Messages or FaceTime after setting up your new iPhone
iMessage and FaceTime may not finish activating on iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro. Update to the latest version of iOS to address the issue.
After setting up your iPhone, you may experience one or more of the following issues:
You can't receive iMessages or FaceTime calls.
You're seeing a green message bubble instead of a blue one when you send a message to another Apple device.
Your existing message threads haven't appeared.
Conversations in Messages are displayed as two separate threads, instead of one.
Recipients are seeing your messages coming from the wrong account – for example, from your email address if you had selected your phone number.
Update your iPhone 14 or iPhone 14 Pro model
To resolve this, update to the latest version of iOS.
