When you purchase Apple Podcasts Subscriptions, you can subscribe to a channel of curated podcasts or to a standalone podcast show. You can also connect your existing subscriptions from Apple Music, Apple News and other top apps to gain access to their premium podcast content.

Which subscription type do you want?

Apple Podcasts has two ways to get access to premium content from the creators you love. With Apple Podcasts Subscriptions, you can subscribe directly in the app to the shows and channels you want. You can also connect your existing, eligible subscriptions from your favourite apps and services to Apple Podcasts and listen to exclusive content.*

Make sure you update the devices you want to use for Apple Podcasts Subscriptions or to connect a subscription:

How to get Apple Podcasts Subscriptions

1. Open the Apple Podcasts app on your iPhone, iPad, Mac or on the web at podcasts.apple.com.

2. Find the podcast or channel you want to subscribe to.

3. Tap or click the offer to get your subscription or try it for free.

4. Follow the instructions on your screen to purchase your subscription or start your free trial.

Depending on the podcast creator, you can choose either a monthly or annual plan for Apple Podcasts Subscriptions.

After you’ve subscribed, you can listen to Apple Podcasts Subscriptions in the Apple Podcasts app on your iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, HomePod and on the web. If you have Family Sharing set up, you can share your subscription with the members of your family group.

How to connect your app subscription

You can connect subscriptions such as Apple Music, Apple News and other apps from the App Store. If you have the app installed and an active, eligible subscription through the App Store, your apps will be connected to Apple Podcasts automatically. If you subscribe through another provider:

1. Open the Apple Podcasts app on your iPhone, iPad or Mac.

2. Find the podcast or channel you want to connect to.

3. Tap or click "Already a Subscriber?".

4. Follow the onscreen instructions to connect your account.

You will have access to the content as long as you have an active, eligible subscription with the provider.

Manage Apple Podcasts Subscriptions and connect subscriptions

If you unfollow a podcast in the Apple Podcasts app, it will not cancel your paid subscription.

You can manage your Apple Podcasts Subscriptions on one of your Apple devices.

If you no longer want to connect your subscription, you can cancel the connected Apple subscription. If you subscribed through a web browser or with another provider, contact the developer.
