Add or change your home address in Maps on your iPhone or iPad

If you need to update an old home address, you can do it in Contacts or Maps.

Set and edit your home or work address in iOS 16 or later or iPadOS 16 or later

1. In the Maps app, scroll to Favourites and tap Add.

2. Start to type the address you want to set as Home or Work, then tap the address when it’s available.

3. Scroll down to Type and tap My Home or My Work. If you haven’t set your Home or Work address before, tap Update to save it to your Contact Card.

4. Tap Done.

   

You can also set or edit a home or work address in the Contacts app:

1. In the Contacts app, tap My Card.

2. Tap Edit.

3. Tap Add Address then type in your information.

4. Tap the label next to your address and choose an option, such as home, work, school or other.

5. Tap Done.

Add, save and edit other favourite places in Maps on iOS

Refine Favourites such as your home or work address in Maps

1. In the Maps app, scroll to Favourites.

2. Tap More.

3. Tap the Info button next to the address you want to change.

4. Tap Refine Location on the Map and move the icon as needed.

5. Tap Done.

   

Edit your home or work address on iOS 14 or earlier

1. In the Maps app, tap the Info button.

2. Tap Report an Issue.

3. Tap Home, then move the icon as needed.

4. Tap Done.

Use Contacts to delete your home or work address

1. In the Contacts app, tap My Card.

2. Tap Edit.

3. Tap the delete button next to the address you want to delete.

4. Tap Delete.
