How to add a workout in the Health app manually
If you forget to start a workout with your Apple Watch, you can add your workout details manually in the Health app afterwards to earn Activity credit.
Add a workout
On your iPhone, open the Health app.
Tap Browse, then tap Activity.
Tap Workouts, then tap Add Data in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
Enter your workout details. To earn Move credit, enter the total calories burnt. To earn Exercise credit, enter the start and end time for your workout.
Tap Add.
Your Activity rings will be updated to reflect the workout added. To check your progress, open the Activity app on your Apple Watch or the Fitness app on your iPhone.
