Delete or recover a presentation in Keynote for iCloud

1. In the document manager, select a presentation or folder.

2. Click the Trash button in the toolbar, or press the Delete or Backspace key on the keyboard.

   The item is moved to Recently Deleted (in the left sidebar).

3. To permanently delete an item so you can no longer recover it, click Recently Deleted, select the item, then click Delete at the top of the window (or press the Delete or Backspace key on the keyboard).

   Tip: When Recently Deleted is selected in the left sidebar, you may see items that were created using other iWork apps, like Pages or Numbers, that are dimmed (you can’t select them). If you want to delete an item but can’t select it, click the App Launcher button in the toolbar, click the app used to create the item, then follow the instructions above.

You can recover any of your deleted presentations (or folders) within 30 days.

1. In the document manager, click Recently Deleted in the left sidebar.

2. Select a presentation or folder, then click Recover at the bottom of the window (or choose it from the item’s More menu ).

   The selected item moves back to its former location in the document manager (under Browse and Recents).

   Tip: When Recently Deleted is selected in the left sidebar, you may see items that were created using other iWork apps, like Pages or Numbers, that are dimmed (you can’t select them). If you want to recover an item but can’t select it, click the App Launcher button in the toolbar, click the app used to create the item, then follow the instructions above.
