Add more languages to use with your grocery lists in Reminders on iOS

Do you use more than one language on your phone? When you enable another language in Reminders for your grocery lists, Reminders can better sort products and ingredients automatically.

After you add additional languages for your grocery lists in iOS 18, Reminders can better recognize foods and automatically sort them when you use grocery lists.

Choose an additional language for grocery categorization

  1. In Settings, tap Apps.

  2. Tap Reminders.

  3. Tap Add Language under Grocery Categorization.

In iOS 18, you can add additional languages for grocery categorization in Reminders.
  4. Choose Set Automatically for your iPhone to choose a language based on your location and your Keyboard and Language & Region settings. You can also turn that setting off and tap Languages to select specific languages for your grocery lists.
