Use the App Store on your iOS devices, Apple TV, or computer

Use the App Store on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Apple TV (4th generation), or computer to purchase and download apps, see your previous purchases, and more.

Through the App Store, you can download new apps for your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Apple TV (4th generation).

Apps that you currently have on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch might also be available for your Apple TV.

Browse and buy

To download and buy apps from the App Store, you need an Apple ID. Your Apple ID is the account you use to access Apple services. If you've used other Apple services such as iCloud or the Mac App Store, you should sign in to the App Store with the same Apple ID. If you don't have an Apple ID, you can create one.

You can browse and buy apps in the App Store on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Apple TV (4th generation), or using the App Store in iTunes on your Mac or PC. If you want to buy apps for your Mac, buy them through the Mac App Store instead of iTunes.

You can purchase apps for your Apple TV (4th generation) from your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, or PC. If you have automatic downloads turned on, the apps download and install automatically to your Apple TV. If you don't have automatic downloads turned on, any apps that you purchase for tvOS are available to download on your Apple TV (4th generation) under Purchases in the App Store for tvOS.
