How many displays can be connected to Mac Studio with M5 Max chip
Depending on the resolution and refresh rate of each display, Mac Studio models with the M5 Max chip support up to five displays simultaneously.
Mac Studio with M5 Max chip
You can connect displays to the Thunderbolt 5 ports and HDMI port on the back of the computer. The two USB-C ports on the front of Mac Studio with M5 Max don't support external display connections.
Using a supported hub or daisy-chaining displays can enable up to four displays over a single Thunderbolt port, but does not increase the maximum number of displays you can connect. Connect the display with the highest resolution first.
