Reset All Settings on iPhone or iPad
Reset All Settings will return settings to factory defaults. Your photos, messages, apps and documents won’t be deleted.
If your device has issues with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or other system features, restart it first. If restarting doesn’t help, reset all settings. This can resolve problems from incorrect or damaged settings without affecting your apps, photos or personal data. This step is rarely necessary.
Before you begin
If you’re selling or giving away your iPhone or iPad, use Erase All Content and Settings instead.
Reset all settings
Open Settings and tap General.
Tap Transfer or Reset [device].
Tap Reset, then tap Reset All Settings.
What settings does the system remove or restore to their defaults?

What data or media will be deleted?
No data or media will be deleted, including:
Photos, videos and music
Apps and app data
Messages and call history
Contacts and calendar events
Documents and files
Downloaded content
Reconnect devices and networks
