If you notice light leakage or reflections in your Apple Vision Pro

Seeing some reflections on the displays in your Apple Vision Pro is normal, but you can make adjustments to get the best experience.

To check what may be causing light leakage or reflections in your Apple Vision Pro, compare your experiences using it in a brightly lit and a dimly lit room.

  • If your experience improves in the dimly lit room, the issue is light leakage. To address this, you can adjust the fit of your Vision Pro or try a thinner Light Seal cushion. If that doesn't help, try a different Light Seal. Some light leakage around your nose is normal; for an ideal fit, you want the Light Seal to make contact with the sides of your face to minimise light leakage.

  • If your experience doesn't improve in the dimly lit room, you may be seeing reflections within the optical system caused by light originating from the display. This is expected behaviour for display systems that are viewed through a lens. To reduce these reflections, try viewing your content in a brighter virtual environment, or turn up the lights in your space.
