Share to YouTube, Facebook or Vimeo from Clips
Use these steps to share from Clips 3.0.1 or later:
If the video that you want to share isn't open, tap the
in the top left-hand corner.Tap the
. If you’d like to change the project aspect ratio, orientation or other advanced options, tap Options at the top of the screen. Tap Done to apply the new settings.Tap Save Video to save the final video in the Photos library on your device. If you have iCloud Photos enabled, you can also access the video from your other Apple devices.
Open the YouTube, Facebook or Vimeo app on your device, sign in to your account, then upload your video.
Share to YouTube, Facebook or Vimeo from iMovie
Use the steps below to share videos that you’ve made with iMovie on your iPhone, iPad or Mac to YouTube, Facebook or Vimeo.
Share video from iMovie on your iPhone or iPad
Use these steps to share from iMovie 2.3.2 or later:
In the Projects browser in iMovie, tap the project you want share, then tap the

Share video from iMovie on your Mac
Use these steps to share from iMovie 10.2.2 or later:
With your project open in iMovie, click the
.Click YouTube & Facebook.
Click the Resolution pop-up menu and choose a size for your video.
Choose a location to save the video file, then click Save.
With Safari or another web browser, sign in to your YouTube, Facebook or Vimeo account, then upload the video file.
Share to YouTube, Facebook or Vimeo from Final Cut Pro on Mac
Use these steps to share from Final Cut Pro version 10.5.1 or later for Mac:
Select your project in the Final Cut Pro browser, click the
, then choose YouTube and Facebook. Or choose File > Share > YouTube & Facebook.*In the Share window, click Info to change the name of the clip, the description and more. Click Settings to choose resolution, compression and caption settings.
Click Next, choose a location to save the video file, then click Save.
With Safari or another web browser, sign in to your YouTube, Facebook or Vimeo account, then upload the video file. You can also get the Vimeo for macOS app from the Mac App Store to upload your video to Vimeo.
* You can add the YouTube and Facebook share destination if you can't see it. Choose File > Share > Add Destination, then drag the YouTube & Facebook destination from the area on the right to the Destinations list on the left (or double-click a destination on the right). Share to YouTube, Facebook or Vimeo from Final Cut Pro for iPad
For an SDR Final Cut Pro for iPad project or any project you want to upload to social platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram and TikTok, choose the Social Platforms option from the Presets pop-up menu when sharing your video. The Social Platforms option will export your video using the H.264 codec, resulting in smaller file sizes and compatibility with the widest range of devices.
For an HDR project that you want to upload to YouTube or Vimeo, choose the Default option from the Presets pop-up menu.

Share to YouTube, Facebook or Vimeo from Compressor
Use these steps to share from Compressor 4.5.1 or later:
In Compressor, click Add File in the batch area, select the source file you want to share, then click Add.
In the settings window that opens, select YouTube & Facebook, choose a location for the transcoded file, then click OK.
If the source file is already in the batch area, you can drag YouTube and Facebook from the Built-In section of the Settings pane onto the source file in the batch area.
Click Start Batch.
With Safari or another web browser, sign in to your YouTube, Facebook or Vimeo account, then upload the video file.
