Write and reply to mail on Apple Watch
In Mail on your Apple Watch, you can write and reply to email with a smart reply, Scribble, dictation, or emoji.
Write and send an email
Go to the Mail app
on your Apple Watch.
Tap
at the top left of the Mailboxes screen and at the bottom right of other screens.
Do the following:
Add a recipient: Tap Add Contact, then tap
to choose a recipient from your contacts, or tap
to dictate a name.
Choose an account to send the email from: Tap From, then tap an account.
Add a subject: Tap Add Subject, then enter a subject.
Tap Create Message, then write your message.
When you’re finished, tap Send.
Reply to a message on Apple Watch
Go to the Mail app
on your Apple Watch.
Scroll to the bottom of a message you’ve received in the Mail app, tap
, then tap Reply. If there are multiple recipients, tap Reply All. Then do either of the following:
Send a smart reply: Scroll to see a list of suggested phrases that you can use—just tap one to send it.
Compose a reply: Tap the Add Message field, then compose a reply.
Customize default replies
Go to the Apple Watch app on your iPhone.
Tap My Watch, tap Mail, then tap Default Replies.
Do any of the following:
Add a default reply: Tap Add Reply at the bottom of the screen.
Edit default replies: Tap Edit, then drag to reorder them.
Delete a default reply: Tap Edit, then tap
.
When you’re finished, tap
.
If the suggested replies aren’t in the language you want to use, scroll down, tap Languages, then tap a language. The available languages are those you enabled on your iPhone. To make changes to the languages, go to the Settings app on iPhone, tap General, tap Keyboard, then tap Keyboards.
