Change Live Captions settings for accessibility on Mac
On your Mac, use Live Captions settings to turn Live Captions on or off, control how captions are styled, and turn them on or off in FaceTime. Learn how to use Live Captions.
To change these settings, choose Apple menu > System Settings, click Accessibility in the sidebar, then click Live Captions on the right. (You may need to scroll down.)
Open Live Captions settings for me
Note: The accuracy of Live Captions may vary and should not be relied upon in high-risk or emergency situations. Live Captions is available only on Mac computers with Apple silicon and when the macOS system language is English (US) or English (Canada).
