Get started with Apple Intelligence on Mac
Apple Intelligence is the personal intelligence system built into macOS Sequoia. It combines the power of generative models with an understanding of your personal context to deliver intelligence that’s useful and relevant. Apple Intelligence is designed to understand and create language and images; prioritise and summarise notifications, mail and messages; and draw from the personal information on your device to simplify and accelerate everyday tasks. And it does all this while protecting your privacy.
Supported devices: Apple Intelligence is available in macOS 15.1 on Mac models with M1 or later. Devices need 4GB of available storage. *
Availability: Apple Intelligence will initially be available in most regions around the world, with Siri and device language set to US English. For more information, see Apple Intelligence requirements.
How to get started: To get started with Apple Intelligence on your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Settings, click Apple Intelligence & Siri , then click Join the Apple Intelligence Waiting List. You are notified as soon as Apple Intelligence is ready for your device.
Note: Apple Intelligence is currently in beta. Apple Intelligence uses generative models, and outputs may be inaccurate, unexpected or offensive. Check important information for accuracy.
