Play a project in GarageBand on Mac
You can play a project any time you’re working on it to hear your latest changes. When you play a project, playback starts from the current position of the playhead. If Cycle mode is turned on, playback starts from the beginning of the cycle area.
Start playback
In GarageBand on Mac, click the Play button in the control bar (or press the Space bar).
While the project is playing, the Go to Beginning button in the control bar becomes a Stop button.
Stop playback
In GarageBand on Mac, click the Stop button in the control bar (or Press the Space bar).
For more information about project playback, see Control playback with the transport buttons in GarageBand on Mac.
Thanks for your feedback.
