Intro to text boxes, images, and other objects in Keynote for iCloud
An object is any item you place on a slide. In Keynote for iCloud, tables, charts, text boxes, shapes, images, video, and audio are all objects. To add objects to your presentation, click an object button in the toolbar.
After you add an object, you can move it anywhere on the slide, add content to it, and change its appearance using the controls in the Format sidebar on the right.
You can layer objects on a slide, resize them, or nest them so they appear inline with the text inside a text box or shape. You can also link some objects so that when you click them, they open webpages or email messages, or the presentation jumps to another slide.
Note: You can also add a 3D object to your presentation using Keynote for Mac, Keynote for iPhone, or Keynote for iPad, but if you open the presentation in Keynote for iCloud, the 3D object will look like a 2D object. See Add 3D objects in Keynote for Mac, Add 3D objects in Keynote for iPhone, or Add 3D objects in Keynote for iPad.
