Studio Display (2026) Tilt-Adjustable Stand
Before You Begin
Danger
Ensure that the AC power cord isn't plugged into an electrical outlet.
Some images in this article show the AC power cord removed from the display, but the power cord should remain connected to the display during this procedure.
Remove the following part before you begin:
Tools
Adjustable torque wrench (2.5–25 Nm)
Alignment pins (stand and VESA mount adapter)
Flathead screwdriver
Torx Plus 20IP 70 mm bit
Refer to a full list of tools required for all repairs.
Important
Discard the screws you remove from the stand according to your local recycling guidelines.
Removal
Note: If you’ve already completed the removal steps, skip to reassembly.
Caution
Don’t reinstall the screws you remove in steps 1 and 3. A replacement stand will include new screws.
Use the 2.5–25 Nm adjustable torque wrench and 20IP bit to remove two 20IP screws from the locations shown.

Replace the removed screws with the alignment pins.
Note: If the alignment pins don't easily fit, loosen the other five 20IP screws.

Use the torque wrench and 20IP bit to remove the remaining five 20IP screws.

Lift the housing from the tilt-adjustable stand.

Remove the alignment pins from the tilt-adjustable stand.

Reassembly
Important
To replace the removed stand with a tilt- and height-adjustable stand, follow the reassembly steps in Tilt- and Height-Adjustable Stand.
To replace the removed stand with a VESA mount adapter, follow the reassembly steps in VESA Mount Adapter.
Note: The stand screws referenced in the following procedure are included with both a replacement tilt-adjustable stand (923-14117) and a replacement housing (923-14015).
Insert the adapter plate into the tilt-adjustable stand.

Install the two alignment pins into the adapter plate.

Use the alignment pins to position the display onto the tilt-adjustable stand.

Use the 2.5–25 Nm adjustable torque wrench and 20IP bit to install five new 20IP screws in the order shown. Hand-tighten each screw in the order indicated.

Set the torque value on the adjustable torque wrench to 3.5 Nm. Use the adjustable torque wrench and 20IP bit to tighten the five 20IP screws to the 3.5 Nm torque setting in the order shown.

Remove the two alignment pins, using a flathead screwdriver if necessary. Keeping the torque value at 3.5 Nm, use the adjustable torque wrench and 20IP bit to install two new 20IP screws (452-12097) in place of the alignment pins.

Set the torque value on the adjustable torque wrench to 6.4 Ncm. Use the adjustable torque wrench and 20IP bit to fully install the six 20IP screws in the order shown.
Caution: Don't further tighten the center screw. It was already set to the proper torque in step 5.
