Use Screen Time on Apple Vision Pro

With Screen Time in visionOS, you can turn on Content & Privacy Restrictions to manage content, apps, and settings. You can also restrict explicit content, purchases, and changes to privacy settings. You can change or turn off any of these settings for yourself, or for a child in your Family Sharing group, at any time.

  1. Go to Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions.

  2. Turn on Content & Privacy Restrictions, then set the controls that you want:

    1. iTunes and App Store Purchases — Restrict or block App Store purchases and require a password for iTunes, Book, and App Store purchases.

    2. Allowed Apps & Features — Choose which apps and features to allow at all times (e.g., even when using Do Not Disturb).

    3. Store, Web, Siri & Game Center Content — Set restrictions for what kind of content is available from Apple Media Services, on the web, and in Game Center.

  3. To restrict changes to privacy settings, you can set a passcode that’s required before changing settings.

If you have Screen Time settings for a child in your family group,* some settings for limiting usage or communication, such as App Limits, Downtime, and Communication Safety, aren't available on Apple Vision Pro and won’t carry over to the child account being used on Apple Vision Pro.

* Age varies by country or region.
