If you can’t transfer money to or from Savings using your external bank account

Confirm that your bank account meets these requirements, then make sure that it’s verified.

Requirements

Your external bank account needs to:

  • Be a checking, savings, or other type of deposit account.

  • Be a personal account and not a business or trust account.

  • Be with a financial institution based in the U.S. or U.S. territories.

  • Be an account owned by you.

Verify your bank account

  1. On your iPhone, open the Wallet app and tap Apple Card.

  2. Tap Savings Account, then tap the More buttonMore button.

  3. Tap Account Details, then Bank Accounts.

  4. Under your external bank, tap Link Account.

  5. Follow the onscreen instructions.

If you still can't transfer money to or from Savings using your external bank account, call 1-877-255-5923 to speak with a Savings Account Specialist at Goldman Sachs.*

The specialist may initiate a three-way call with you, your financial institution, and Goldman Sachs to verify your account. The time to complete the verification will depend on the availability of your bank.
