MV-HEVC

Multiview High Efficiency Video Coding, a video compression standard based on HEVC (H.265), but with additional support for stereoscopic video. MV-HEVC encodes two different views (one for each eye) in separate layers of the same file, allowing for efficient storage and playback of stereo 3D video files, including spatial video on Apple Vision Pro. Working with MV-HEVC encoded video in Compressor requires a Mac with Apple silicon and macOS 14 or later.
