If you can't use certificates installed by MDM after upgrading to iOS or iPadOS 15

Learn what to do if a certificate installed by mobile device management (MDM) is missing after upgrading to iOS 15.

If an identity certificate is installed on a device via an MDM payload, it might be unavailable later after upgrading to iOS 15 if the same profile is updated by MDM. To resolve this issue, update to iOS or iPadOS 15.2, then install the profile again. This issue no longer occurs on devices with iOS or iPadOS 15.2 or later.
