Here's what you need to subscribe
To subscribe to Apple Fitness+, you need one of the following devices or device pairings:
- iPhone 8 or later with iOS 16.1
- iPhone 6s or later with iOS 14.3 paired with Apple Watch Series 3 or later with watchOS 7.2 or later

Have your Apple ID and password ready. To subscribe to Fitness+ on your iPad or Apple TV, make sure that you're signed in with the same Apple ID that's signed in on your iPhone.
How to subscribe to Apple Fitness+ on your iPhone
- Open the Fitness app.
- Tap Apple Fitness+ at the bottom of your screen.
- Tap Get Started.
- Tap the trial offer (one trial per person or family).
- Sign in with your Apple ID and password. Forgot your Apple ID?
- Verify your billing information and add a valid payment method.
- Tap Subscribe.
How to subscribe to Apple Fitness+ on your iPad
To subscribe to Apple Fitness+ on your iPad, you need to be signed in with the same Apple ID that's signed in on your iPhone.
- Download the Fitness app from the App Store.*
- Open the Fitness app.
- Tap Get Started.
- Tap the trial offer (one trial per person or family).
- Sign in with your Apple ID and password. Forgot your Apple ID?
- Verify your billing information and add a valid payment method.
- Tap Subscribe.
* If you don't see the Fitness app, you might need to update to the latest version of iPadOS. You should also check if your device is compatible with Apple Fitness+.
How to subscribe to Apple Fitness+ on your Apple TV
To subscribe to Apple Fitness+ on your Apple TV, you need to be signed in with the same Apple ID that's signed in on your iPhone.
- Open the Fitness app.*
- Select Get Started.
- Select the trial offer (one trial per person or family).
- Sign in with your Apple ID and password. Forgot your Apple ID?
- Verify your billing information and add a valid payment method.
- Select Subscribe.
* If you don't see the Fitness app, you might need to update to the latest version of tvOS. You should also check if your device is compatible with Apple Fitness+.
After you subscribe, here's what you can do
- Find and start workouts in Apple Fitness+.
- If you use Family Sharing and subscribe to Apple Fitness+, you can share your subscription with up to five family members.
