Here's where you can use Siri on Apple TV

Ask Siri on Apple TV
Hold down the Siri button on your Siri Remote, say what you want, then release the Siri button.
If you have a HomePod, use your voice to get Siri’s attention or touch and hold the top of HomePod. Make sure you finish your request on HomePod with “on the TV” to search, control playback or play content on your TV.

You can set your Siri language to be different from the one your Apple TV displays. On your Apple TV, go to Settings > General > Siri Language.
Siri will search across popular apps, depending on your country or region, then display your viewing options or the answer to your question. Siri won’t talk to you, so it won’t interrupt what you’ve been listening to or watching.
Search for content and apps on Apple TV
Want to watch a certain film or TV programme? Or want to watch something live? Just ask Siri what you want to watch and Siri will take you to it.
Search by title
If you know the title of the programme/film you want to watch, you can search by title. If there’s more than one choice, Siri will give you the option to choose the correct one. For example:
"Watch Ted Lasso."
"Play Transformers: Rise of the Beasts."
"Dune."
Search by genre, cast and more
Not sure what you’re looking for? Siri will let you search by genre, cast, director, rating, age appropriateness, popularity and more. For example:
“Show me some funny horror films.”
“Find new films in 4K.”*
“What are some popular new releases?”
“Find TV programmes for kids.”
*You can only play 4K content on Apple TV 4K.
Find apps
Find an app or type of app in the App Store. For example:
“Open Hulu.”
“Find fitness apps.”
"Go to the App Store."
Get personalised recommendations
In supported countries and regions, Siri can recognise the voice associated with the Apple ID you use on Apple TV and another Apple device. Set up Recognise My Voice to get personalised recommendations, play your favourite music and more. Then try:
"What should I watch?"
"Play my music."
"Switch to my profile."
Search YouTube
To search for content on YouTube, just include it in your Siri search, like this:
“Search YouTube for the world’s fastest car.”
“Find funny cat videos on YouTube.”
“Find surfing lessons on YouTube.”
“Find vegetarian cooking videos on YouTube.”
Play live content
In supported apps and countries, Siri can launch live content for you. For example:
“Watch Channel 4 live.”
“Watch ITV live.”
“Watch BBC News live.”

Siri can control video playback, provide the latest sport scores, check the weather forecast and open apps. Siri can also recognise the name of onscreen labels, so you can use your voice to navigate your Apple TV.
Control what's playing on Apple TV
While you’re watching a video, you can ask Siri about it, change your settings and more. For example:
“Turn on Closed Captioning.”
“Fast-forward two minutes.”
“What did he say?”
“Who stars in this?”
Get general information
You can ask Siri about sport, weather and stocks, or ask specific questions that you may search for on the internet. The extent of Siri's knowledge of general information may vary by country and region.
"Who's playing baseball tonight?"
"Which quarterback has the most passing yards?"
“What’s the temperature outside?”
“Where’s the NASDAQ today?”
"Is corn a fruit?"
Find my iPhone
If you turn on Find My iPhone for your devices, you can ask Siri to play a sound on a device to help you find it. Here are some examples:
“Where’s my iPhone?”
“Play a sound on my iPhone.”
“Where’s my Apple Watch?”

You can use Siri to open apps on your Apple TV. For example:
“Go to Photos.”

Turn Siri on or off on Apple TV
On your Apple TV, go to Settings > General > Siri.
If your Apple TV speaks the names of icons or settings, see if you’ve turned on VoiceOver accidentally. VoiceOver isn’t a Siri feature. To turn off VoiceOver, go to Settings > General > Accessibility > VoiceOver and turn off VoiceOver.
If you can’t turn on Siri on Apple TV
In Settings > General > Language and Region, make sure you’ve selected a supported language and country or region.
Make sure the billing information for your Apple ID is based in the same country or region. For example, even if you set your system language to a supported Siri language, Siri won’t be available if your billing information is based in a different country or region.
*Siri availability, features and commands vary by language and country or region. Apple TV 4K and Apple TV HD come with the same remote everywhere. In countries and regions that support Siri, the remote is called Siri Remote. Elsewhere, it’s called Apple TV Remote.
