Enter text

To enter text on Apple TV, do any of the following:

• Use your remote: Swipe horizontally on the clickpad or touch surface to highlight a character, then press the clickpad centre or touch surface to enter the character. Press on the remote to switch keyboards.

• Use your iPhone or iPad: When a text field appears on Apple TV, a notification appears on your iPhone or iPad. Tap the notification, then enter text in the keyboard that appears.

• Use dictation (if available): With the text field highlighted onscreen, press and hold on your remote, speak the words or characters you want to enter in the text field, then release the button.
