Notifications help you keep track of what’s new. For example, when you get a FaceTime call or an email, you get a notification in the top-right corner of your screen. Some notifications, such as those for Messages and Mail, let you respond directly in the notification.

To see all your recent notifications, click the Notification Centre icon in the menu bar, then click Notifications.
