Apple Account
You use your Apple Account to access Apple services like the App Store, Apple Music, iCloud, FaceTime, the iTunes Store and more.
To sign in to your Apple Account, you can use an email address or phone number on file for your account, and your password. See the Apple Support article Using your phone number for Apple Account instead of an email address.
Sign in to the same Apple Account to use any Apple service, on any device. That way, when you make purchases or download items on one device, the same items are available on your other devices. Your purchases are tied to your Apple Account and can’t be transferred to another Apple Account.
It’s best to have your own Apple Account and not share it. If you’re part of a family group, you can use Family Sharing to share purchases between family members — without having to share an Apple Account.
To learn more about Apple Account, see the Apple Account Support website. To create one, go to the Apple Account website.
