Update macOS

  1. Go to the System Settings app the System Settings icon on your Mac.

  2. Click General in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.)

  3. Click Software Update.

    The Software Update settings show the currently installed version of macOS and whether an update is available.

  4. Click Update Now, then follow the onscreen instructions.
