Use iCloud Passwords in Chrome on your Windows computer
If you have iCloud for Windows version 12 or later, you can access Safari passwords saved in iCloud on your Windows computer. Passwords are available in Google Chrome using the iCloud Passwords extension. Find out which version of iCloud for Windows you have.
To set up your computer, see Set up iCloud Keychain and iCloud Passwords.
Note: iCloud Passwords only works in Chrome on computers that have iCloud for Windows installed. It does not work in Chrome on a Mac.
Access a saved password in Google Chrome
If you are on a website where you have saved a password, iCloud Passwords can autofill it for you.
In Google Chrome on a Windows computer, go to a website where you have saved a password.
Click the iCloud Passwords button in your browser. If prompted, enter a six-digit verification code in the pop-up window.
Click the account you want to use. The username and password are autofilled on the website and you can sign in.
Add a new password
When you create a new account or enter a username and password not saved in iCloud, iCloud Passwords can save the credentials in iCloud. You can then access the username and password on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch or Mac with iCloud Keychain turned on.
In Google Chrome on a Windows computer, create or enter a new account on a website. If prompted, enter a six-digit verification code in the pop-up window.
Click Save Password in the notification to add the account to iCloud.
If you do not want to add the account to iCloud, click Not Now or Never for This Website.
If you select Never for This Website and change your mind, you can reset it on your Mac. See If you can’t save a password in Safari on Mac in the Safari User Guide.
Update an existing password
If you changed your password on a website and the old password is saved in iCloud, you can update it the next time you sign in to the website. The password is also kept up to date on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch or Mac with iCloud Keychain turned on.
