Beats Repair and Service
How do I arrange a service for my Beats?
When you send your product to us, we’ll verify what kind of service it needs. Replacement equipment that Apple provides as a part of the repair or replacement service may contain new or previously used Apple genuine parts that have been tested and pass Apple functional requirements. If your product needs a different service from the one you requested, we’ll contact you with more information.
Hardware service may no longer be available for older Beats and Monster-branded products. Contact your local provider to enquire about available service options.

How long will it take?
Service through Apple takes approximately 3-10 business days from when you send us your product. If you arrange a service through your local Apple Authorised Service Provider, you can ask them for details.
How much will it cost?
After examining your Beats, your technician will confirm the total costs for repair or replacement. The prices for damage, battery service and lost Beats shown here are for repairs made by Apple. Pricing and terms might vary at other service providers. In some cases, a repair might be covered by the Apple warranty, an AppleCare plan or consumer law.

Accidental damage
If your product was damaged or your repair isn’t covered by the Apple Limited Warranty, AppleCare+ or consumer law, you might be able to repair or replace it for an out-of-warranty fee.
Battery service
Batteries are consumable parts that sometimes fail because of a defect or because they wear out through normal use. The Apple Limited Warranty covers a defective battery, but it doesn’t cover wear from normal use.
If your battery has a manufacturing defect and it's covered by our warranty, AppleCare+ or consumer law, we'll service it for no additional cost. If your battery issue isn't covered, we offer out-of-warranty battery service for a fee.
If you have AppleCare+ for Headphones, it offers replacement coverage if your eligible Beats headphone or earphone battery holds less than 80 per cent of its original capacity.
Is your Beats product covered by AppleCare+?
AppleCare+ gives you expert technical support and hardware cover from Apple, including accidental damage protection. Each incident of accidental damage is subject to an excess fee.
If you don't have AppleCare+, you'll pay the out-of-warranty fee for that type of repair.
Product | AppleCare+ Excess Fee |
---|---|
Eligible Beats headphones and earphones | £ 25 |
Not sure if you're covered? Check whether you have AppleCare+ cover by entering your Beats product's serial number.
Express Replacement Service
The Express Replacement Service is a benefit of your AppleCare+ plan.

Apple Limited Warranty and proof of purchase
The Apple Limited Warranty covers your Beats and its accessories against manufacturing defects for one year from the date you bought your product. The Apple Limited Warranty is in addition to rights provided by consumer law.
Our warranty doesn't cover damage caused by accidents or unauthorised modifications. See the warranty for complete details. You can check your cover status online and update your proof-of-purchase information if there's an error in our records. If our warranty, your AppleCare plan or consumer law don't cover your repair, you'll pay out-of-warranty fees.
Consumer law
Your country or region may have consumer protection laws for some repair issues.
Our guarantee after service
We guarantee our service, including replacement parts, for 90 days or the remaining term of your Apple warranty or AppleCare+ cover, whichever is longer. We offer this whenever you have a service with us or an Apple Authorised Service Provider. This is in addition to rights provided by consumer law.
