If your surroundings appear blurry when viewed through Apple Vision Pro

Apple Vision Pro has an array of advanced cameras and sensors that work together to give you a real-time view of what's around you. Learn what to expect, and what to do if your surroundings look blurry.

Seeing your surroundings through Apple Vision Pro

When you view what's around you through Apple Vision Pro, you're seeing it through the main cameras on the front of the device.

Just like with all cameras, lighting is important. You’ll have the best view of your surroundings when you use Apple Vision Pro in a well-lit environment. Good lighting helps show your surroundings clearly. It also helps you use Vision Pro safely.

If you're wearing Apple Vision Pro and your surroundings seem blurry, distorted, or grainy, first try increasing the lighting in the room you're in. Turning on lamps and lights, or letting in more indirect natural light during the day, will help you get the best experience.

If your surroundings look blurry in Apple Vision Pro

If you're wearing Apple Vision Pro and your surroundings seem blurry, distorted, or grainy:

  • Increase the lighting around you. As with other cameras, the cameras in Apple Vision Pro can show noise and grain when you use the device in a dim or dark environment. Turn on lamps and lights, or let in more indirect natural light during the day, to see your surroundings best.

  • Clean the Apple Vision Pro cover glass to remove any smudges.

  • Check your Accessibility settings. If you've turned on Ignore Eye Movements to Stabilize in Settings > Accessibility > Display & Text Size, this can affect how your surroundings appear through Apple Vision Pro.
