Download the Beats app if your country, region or device doesn't have Google Play

Find out how to download the Beats app on Android if you're unable to access Google Play. You may need to adjust your security settings to finish the installation.

Install the app

  1. Swipe down from the top of your phone's Home screen to open the notification drawer.

  2. Tap Download file to start the installation.

  3. If you see a message that says "Your phone is not allowed to install unknown app", tap Settings.

  4. A confirmation screen will appear. Select "Allow from the source". You’ll need to complete this process the next time you update the app.

  5. If you see a message that asks "Do you want to install this application?", tap Install. The Beats app will install on your device.

  6. Open the Beats app.
