If your Apple Account unlock request was denied

If your Apple Account unlock request was denied, the decision is final. While Apple Support cannot help activate your locked Apple Account, you may still be able to use your device with a new Apple Account.

If you see “This account is locked and can’t be used” or receive an email that says “We’ve reviewed your request and it was denied”, your Apple Account unlock request has been denied.

Submit an Activation Lock removal request

If your Apple Account unlock request was denied, you may need to remove Activation Lock from your devices to use them with a new Apple Account.

To remove Activation Lock on your device, go to the Activation Lock portal and follow the onscreen steps to start an Activation Lock support request. You will need to provide proof of purchase documentation for your device.

Create a new Apple Account

To continue using your device, or to use a new device, you can create a new Apple Account.
