Track your pregnancy with Cycle Tracking
You can log a pregnancy with your iPhone or iPad to track gestational age and the impact of your pregnancy on other health features, as well as receive a variety of health notifications and recommendations to review for your pregnancy.
Add a current pregnancy
On your iPhone or iPad, open the Health app.
If you’re on your iPhone, tap Browse, then tap Cycle Tracking. If you’re on your iPad, tap the
, then tap Cycle Tracking.Tap Factors, then tap Add Factor.
Tap Pregnancy, then tap Options next to Estimation Methods.
Select an Estimation Method:
Last Menstrual Period: tap this option, then tap Done. Next to Start Date, tap Add to enter the start date of your last menstrual period.
Estimated Due Date: tap this option, then tap Done. Next to Date, tap Add to enter your estimated Due Date.
Estimated Gestational Date: tap this option, then tap Done. Next to Age, tap Add to enter the number of weeks and days. Next to As of, tap Add to select a date.
Embryo Transfer Date: tap this option, then tap Done. Next to Embryonic Age, tap Add and select either 3 or 5 days. Next to Date of Transfer, tap Add to select a date.
Tap Next, then follow the onscreen prompts to turn on Walking Steadiness notifications and Mental Health Questionnaires, adjust your high heart rate notification threshold as needed, turn off Cardio Fitness notifications, add your pregnancy to your Medical ID and review your Cycle Timelines.
Tap Done.
You can also log a Past Pregnancy.
Log bleeding and symptoms
On your iPhone or iPad, open the Health app.
If you’re on your iPhone, tap Browse, then tap Cycle Tracking. If you’re on your iPad, tap the
, then tap Cycle Tracking.If needed, swipe to the day you wish to log.
Select what to log:
Bleeding During Pregnancy: tap this option, then tap Had Bleeding and select a bleeding level. You can also swipe left to log any symptoms.
Symptoms: tap this option, then select a symptom. You can also swipe right to log any bleeding.
Tap Done.
You can also log bleeding and symptoms on your Apple Watch. Open the Cycle Tracking app on your Apple Watch and tap Log.
View your pregnancy details
On your iPhone or iPad, open the Health app.
If you’re on your iPhone, tap Browse, then tap Cycle Tracking. If you’re on your iPad, tap the
, then tap Cycle Tracking.Under Pregnancy, you can review details such as your current trimester, estimated due date, gestational age and the date of your last menstrual period. Trimesters are defined as:
First Trimester: from the first day of your last menstrual period until 13 weeks and 6 days.
Second Trimester: from 14 weeks and 0 days until 27 weeks and 6 days.
Third Trimester: from 28 weeks and 0 days until 40 weeks and 6 days or your delivery date.
You can also view your pregnancy on your Apple Watch. Open the Cycle Tracking app on your Apple Watch, then
in the top left-hand corner.Add an end date to a current pregnancy
On your iPhone or iPad, open the Health app.
If you’re on your iPhone, tap Browse, then tap Cycle Tracking. If you’re on your iPad, tap the
, then tap Cycle Tracking.Tap on your current pregnancy, then tap Add an End Date next to Ended.
Select the date your pregnancy ended, then tap Done.
Select a factor for your cycle after your pregnancy.
Tap Next, then tap Done.
Log a Past Pregnancy
On your iPhone or iPad, open the Health app.
If you’re on your iPhone, tap Browse, then tap Cycle Tracking. If you’re on your iPad, tap the
, then tap Cycle Tracking.Tap Factors, then tap Add Factor.
Tap Log a Past Pregnancy.
Tap Add next to Start Date to enter the start of your past pregnancy.
Tap Add next to Ended to enter the end date of your past pregnancy.
Tap Next, then tap Done.
