If your Apple Account balance seems to be incorrect

Sign out of the App Store, Apple Music app, or Apple TV app. Then sign in and check the balance again.

If you still think the balance is incorrect, check your purchase history to see whether you’ve bought an item or a subscription has been renewed.

If you have an unredeemed Apple Gift Card, App Store Card or App Store & iTunes Gift Card, you can check the balance of your gift card.

If you can’t spend the last of your Apple Account balance to make changes to your account

Some changes to your Apple Account require you to have no remaining Apple Account balance. To clear your balance:

  • Wait for any pending refunds to process.

  • Spend your remaining balance on items in the App Store or other Apple services.

  • If your remaining balance is less than the cost of a single item, contact Apple Support.

If cash refunds are required by law

You can't redeem or return Apple Gift Cards, App Store Gift Cards or unused Apple Account balance for cash, except as required by law. If your jurisdiction allows the refund of redeemed gift balances, you can contact Apple Support to request a refund. When you contact Apple, include the primary email address you use to sign in to your Apple Account.
