You can change your default card, remove a card from Apple Wallet or update the billing and contact information that Apple Pay uses for in-app and online purchases.
The first payment card you add to the Apple Wallet on a device will become your default card for that device. You can also change your default card when you add more cards.
Open the Wallet app.
Touch and hold the payment card that you want to set as your default card.
Drag the card in front of your other cards.
On your iPhone, open the Apple Watch app.
In the My Watch tab, tap Wallet & Apple Pay.
Under Transaction Defaults, tap Default Card.
Tap a card to set it as your default card.
On your device, open Wallet & Apple Pay settings.
On your Mac with Touch ID, go to System Settings (or System Preferences) > Wallet & Apple Pay.
On your iPad or Vision Pro, go to Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay.
Select a new default card.
On your Mac with Touch ID, choose a card from the menu.
On your iPad or Vision Pro, scroll down to Transaction Defaults, then tap Default Card and choose a card.
You can remove a debit or credit card from your device. If you need help with removing a card, you can also contact your card issuer.
In the Wallet app, tap the card you want to remove.
Tap the
, then tap .*Scroll down and tap Remove Card.
* In iOS 15 and earlier, you won't see the option to tap Card Details.
Go to Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay.
Tap the card you want to remove.
Tap Remove Card.
* In iPadOS 15 and earlier, you won't see the option to tap Card Details.
On your Apple Watch, tap the Wallet app.
Tap the card you want to remove.
Scroll down and tap Remove.
Go to System Settings (or System Preferences) > Wallet & Apple Pay.
Click the card you want to remove.
Click the
.If you need to remove a card and your device is lost or stolen, you can mark your device as lost, which will turn off Apple Pay on your device automatically. For support with your payment cards, contact your card issuer.
When you enter billing, delivery and contact information for a payment card in Apple Wallet, Apple Pay will store the information and use it when you make purchases. Depending on the merchant, you can update your billing, delivery and contact information when you check out online and within apps. You can also use the steps below.
iPhone: in the Wallet app, tap a card. Tap the
, then tap and then tap Billing Address.*Apple Watch: in the Apple Watch app on your iPhone, tap Wallet & Apple Pay, then tap the card with the address you want to change. Then tap Billing Address.
iPad and Vision Pro: in Settings, tap Wallet & Apple Pay, then tap the card with the address you want to change. Then tap Billing Address.
Mac with Touch ID: in System Settings (or System Preferences), click Wallet & Apple Pay, then click the card with the address you want to change. Then click the Billing Address menu.
* In iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 and earlier, you won't see the option to tap Card Details.
iPhone: go to Settings and tap Wallet & Apple Pay. Scroll down to Transaction Defaults and update your delivery address, email address and phone number.
Apple Watch: in the Apple Watch app on your iPhone, tap Wallet & Apple Pay. Scroll down to Transaction Defaults and update your delivery address, email address and phone number.
iPad and Vision Pro: go to Settings and tap Wallet & Apple Pay. Scroll down to Transaction Defaults and update your delivery address, email address and phone number.
Mac with Touch ID: in System Settings (or System Preferences), go to Wallet & Apple Pay. Click Contact and Shipping, and update your delivery address, email address and phone number.
To use Apple Pay, you’ll need a supported card from a participating card issuer. To check whether your card is compatible with Apple Pay, contact your card issuer.
