If a Bluetooth accessory, such as a wireless keyboard, doesn’t connect to your iPhone or iPad, find out what to do.
If your Bluetooth accessory was previously connected to the iOS or iPadOS device you wish to use it with, make sure the accessory and device are close to each other. If you haven’t paired them before, you may need to place them in discovery mode first. Check your accessory’s instructions.
Turn your Bluetooth accessory off and back on again.
Make sure your Bluetooth accessory is turned on and fully charged or connected to a power source. If your accessory uses batteries, see if they need to be replaced.
If there’s an app that you use with the Bluetooth accessory, go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Bluetooth on your iPhone or iPad, and make sure you’ve turned on Bluetooth for the app.
If your Bluetooth accessory was previously connected to your iOS or iPadOS device:
Put it back in discovery mode.
Try to pair and connect it again.
If your accessory pairs with some devices, but not your iOS or iPadOS device:
Unpair the accessory from your other devices.
Try to pair with your iOS or iPadOS device again.
To find out whether your accessory is compatible with your iOS or iPadOS device, contact the manufacturer of the accessory.
