Look up your Apple Watch part number, model number, collection and colour.
Find your part number and model number
To find out which Apple Watch you have, use its model number:
Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone.
Tap the My Watch tab.
Tap General, then tap About.
Find the Model Number field. You should see the part number that begins with “M”.
Tap the Model Number field. You should see the field update to show a five-digit number that begins with "A". This is your model number.
Compare your model number to the ones below.
In Japan, if you have an Apple Watch Series 2 and the part number ends with "J/A", you can use Apple Pay on your device to ride public transport and make purchases in shops. For models of Apple Watch purchased in the United States on or after 18 January 2024 with part numbers ending in LW/A, the Blood Oxygen data analysis is performed on iPhone, and results can be viewed in the Health app. This experience is available on the latest version of iOS and watchOS.
