When adding an email account to Mail on your Apple device, you’ll be asked to choose from a list of common email service providers. Because your email address may not include the provider’s name, or your provider delegates account authentication to a different provider, use this article to find out which of these providers to choose.

If the email address is for a Microsoft Exchange-based email account, choose Microsoft Exchange from the list you see when adding your email account to Mail.
For any other email address not listed above, choose Other (or Other Mail Account) from the list, then follow the onscreen steps to set up your account manually. You may need to enter email server addresses and other information, which you can get from your email provider.
If the email provider you chose when adding your email account is not correct, remove the account from your device, then choose the correct email provider when adding it again. (If you don’t remove the account first, you may see a message stating that the email account already exists.)
