Messages conversations

Messages conversations appear in the left sidebar of the Messages window. Each conversation has an icon followed by one or more names representing who's chatting with you. Email addresses or phone numbers may be listed instead of names before you save contacts or name the group.

When you select a conversation on the left, a transcript appears on the right.

To search for contacts and content in conversations, click the search field in the top-left corner and enter what you’re looking for. Or choose from the suggested contacts, links, photos and more.
