Use iCloud with your family
If you create a Family Sharing group, you can share an iCloud+ subscription and help family members locate lost devices. See the Apple Support article Set up Family Sharing.
Even if you do not have a Family Sharing group, you can still use iCloud to share photo albums, to-do lists, locations and more with family members.
Share an iCloud+ subscription
You can share iCloud+ with members of your Family Sharing group. Family Sharing members get access to additional iCloud storage as well as iCloud Private Relay (beta), Hide My Email and HomeKit Secure Video support. See What is iCloud+? and Upgrade to iCloud+ and manage your subscription.
Do either of the following:
On your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch: go to Settings > [your name] > Family Sharing. Tap iCloud Storage, then follow the onscreen instructions.
On your Mac: choose Apple menu
> System Preferences, then click Family Sharing. Click iCloud Storage, click Share, then follow the onscreen instructions.
Note: Not all iCloud+ features are available in all countries or regions. iCloud Private Relay and Hide My Email require an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch with iOS 15, iPadOS 15 or later. For more information, see the Apple Support article System requirements for iCloud.
Share using iCloud
With or without a Family Sharing group, you can use iCloud features to help keep your family connected by sharing a calendar, to-do lists and more. Family members need to turn on the iCloud features they want to use on each of their devices.
Here are some examples of how you can use iCloud with your family.
create a shared photo or video album
use iCloud Drive to share files or collaborate on documents
create a shared calendar and add important family events
use Reminders to create a shared shopping or to-do list
share control of your home and manage accessories with the Home app
share locations so you can find family members on a map. With Family Sharing, family members can also help you locate lost devices.
