Apple Limited Warranty coverage
The Apple Limited Warranty covers your product and Apple-branded accessories against manufacturing defects for one year from the date you bought them. Our warranty is in addition to rights provided by consumer law.
Our warranty doesn't cover damage caused by accidents or unauthorized modifications. See the warranty for complete details. You can check your warranty status online and update your proof-of-purchase information if there's an error in our records.

Out-of-warranty service
Repairs are considered out of warranty when:
- Your iPhone is over one year old
- Your iPhone has an issue that’s not covered under warranty or consumer law, like accidental damage or damage caused by unauthorized modifications
We might be able to fix or replace your product for an out-of-warranty fee. Your replacement iPhone will be new or equivalent to new in both performance and reliability. The Apple Limited Warranty is in addition to rights provided by consumer law.
Battery service
The Apple Limited Warranty covers a defective battery, but it doesn't cover wear from normal use. An Apple authorized technician might need to test your product to find the cause of your battery issue.
If your battery has a manufacturing defect and it's covered by our warranty or consumer law, they can service it at no additional cost. If your iPhone battery service isn't covered, check with your local Apple Authorized Service Provider or carrier about out-of-warranty battery service.
Apple accessories
Apple-branded accessories, including the power adapter, are covered by our warranty and consumer law. For service details, contact your carrier.
