Use iCloud Keychain on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
When you turn on iCloud Keychain on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, you can securely save passwords, credit card numbers, and more in iCloud, and access that information on any device that’s set up for iCloud Keychain.
What can you do with iCloud Keychain on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch?
First, set up iCloud Keychain on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. Then, do any of the following:
Store important information: When you sign in to a website or app on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, you can save your credentials in iCloud Keychain. You can also save credit card numbers and expiration dates when making a purchase in Safari.
iCloud Keychain also saves Wi-Fi passwords; the accounts you use in Mail, Contacts, Calendar, and Messages; and more.
Information stored in iCloud Keychain stays up to date on all your devices with iCloud Keychain turned on.
Autofill credentials and credit card information: If you have AutoFill turned on, your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch can automatically use the information stored in iCloud Keychain to sign in to apps or websites or fill in credit card information.
Automatically create strong passwords: When you create a new account for a website or app on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, iCloud Keychain automatically suggests a strong password for you.
View saved accounts and passwords on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
You can view the accounts and passwords you store in iCloud Keychain from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. You can also manually add new accounts, edit credentials, or delete saved accounts.
To view or edit an account, do one of the following:
On iOS 14, iPadOS 14, or later:
Websites: Go to Settings > Passwords, unlock your passwords using Face ID or Touch ID, then tap a website.
Mail, Contacts, Calendar, and Messages accounts: Go to Settings > Mail > Accounts, then tap an account.
On iOS 13, iPadOS 13, or earlier:
Websites: Go to Settings > Passwords & Accounts > Website & App Passwords, unlock your passwords using Face ID or Touch ID, then tap a website.
Mail, Contacts, Calendar, and Messages accounts: Go to Settings > Passwords & Accounts, then tap an item below Accounts.
