Control access to your local network on Mac
Some apps can find and communicate with devices on your local network. You can decide which apps are allowed access to your local network.
Choose Apple menu
> System Settings, then click Privacy & Securityin the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.)
Click Local Network.
For each app listed, turn the ability to access your local network on or off.
If you allow third-party apps access to your local network, any information they collect is governed by their terms and privacy policies. It’s recommended that you learn about the privacy practices of those parties.
If you’re a system administrator and want information about deploying security settings, see Apple Platform Deployment.
