Hide My Email is a service that's included with your iCloud+ subscription. With Hide My Email, you can generate unique, random email addresses that automatically forward to your personal inbox, so you can keep your email address private.
How Hide My Email works
When you create a new account with an app or website, sign up for a newsletter online, or need to send an email to someone you don't know well, you can use Hide My Email directly from Safari or your iCloud Settings to create a unique, random email address. You can create as many email addresses as you need. If you want, you can refresh your randomly generated email address to generate a new one. After you choose an address, it's unique to you. You can read and respond directly to emails sent to this email address and your personal email address is kept private.
Apple doesn't read or process any of the content in the email messages that pass through Hide My Email, except to perform standard spam filtering that's required to maintain our status as a trusted email provider. All email messages are deleted from our relay servers after they're delivered to you, usually within seconds.
At any time, you can change the email address that receives forwarded messages. Or you can choose to turn off email forwarding to stop receiving messages. You can manage your addresses created with Hide My Email in Settings on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or on iCloud.com.
How to create email addresses with Hide My Email
You can set up new email addresses with Hide My Email in Settings on your Mac and iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS 15 or iPadOS 15 or later that's signed in with your Apple ID. You can also set up new addresses on iCloud.com, Mail, or Safari.
In iOS 16 or iPadOS 16 or later, you can also keep your email address private in third-party apps. Just tap Hide My Email in your QuickType keyboard suggestions, then follow the onscreen steps.

How to deactivate or delete an email address with Hide My Email
After you deactivate a Hide My Email address, it stops forwarding emails to you.
Go to Settings, then tap your name.
Tap iCloud.
Select Hide My Email.
To temporarily stop using an email address, select an email address, then tap Deactivate Email Address. Tap Deactivate to confirm.
To use the email address again, scroll to the bottom of your email list and select Inactive Addresses. Select an email address, then tap Reactivate Address. Tap Reactivate to confirm.
To permanently delete an email address from your account, select it in your Inactive Addresses list, then tap Delete Address. Tap Delete to confirm.
