Pack your AirPods using the included packaging materials
Before returning your AirPods, please wipe them clean and remove any debris.
- Remove the shipping contents from the delivered package. Shipping contents include: a white box, a brown box, a return shipping bag, and a battery sticker.
- Place both AirPods in the charging case. No matter the issue, both AirPods and the charging case must be returned for service.

- If you're sending AirPods Pro, remove the ear tips and keep them in a safe place to use with your AirPods Pro after service. To remove an ear tip, pull firmly at the base where the ear tip is attached to the AirPod.

- If you're sending AirPods Pro, remove the ear tips and keep them in a safe place to use with your AirPods Pro after service. To remove an ear tip, pull firmly at the base where the ear tip is attached to the AirPod.
- Place the AirPods and charging case inside the white box.

- Put the white box into the brown shipping box.
- Close the brown shipping box and use the tape strip to seal the lid.

- Place the brown box into the shipping bag with the return shipping label showing.

- Seal the shipping bag by removing the clear film and folding the edge of the bag over the exposed tape.

- Attach the battery sticker to the shipping bag.*

Ship your AirPods to Apple
- Find the name of the courier on the return shipping label.
- Visit the courier's website to schedule a pickup or find a drop-off location.
- Ask the courier for a receipt.
- Check the status of your service request.
Use your AirPods after service
- Record the serial number of your replacement Apple product. Your replacement Apple product is covered by a 90-day service warranty, or the remainder of your original product warranty or AppleCare plan, whichever is longer. Consumer law will also apply to your replacement product where available.
- Set up your AirPods.
