AirPort: Cross reference of 802.11n-capable AirPort Base Station names
With AirPort Utility version 5.5.3, Apple has improved the AirPort names for all 802.11n-capable AirPort Base Stations. Refer to the following tables to cross-reference the original and new names of 802.11n-capable AirPort Base Stations.
AirPort Base Station cross reference tables for 802.11n-capable base stations
Note: AirPort Utility version 5.5.2 and earlier displays the original product names. AirPort Base Station support documentation now uses the new naming convention.
For the following tables:
Model number is the model number that is physically located on each AirPort Base Station
AirPort Utility 5.5.3 or later name is the name shown when you select the device in AirPort Utility version 5.5.3 or later
Original AirPort Utility (version 5.5.2 or earlier) name is the name shown when you select the device in AirPort Utility version 5.5.2 or earlier
Other AirPort name is another name for the product that may sometimes appear in AppleCare support documentation
